Ta-da! The cover of my newest sketchbook, cross hatching just for the fun of it.
One day I’ll get the hang of talking to myself while recording. One day…
I blindfolded myself and picked three random markers! Pale Thistle BV0000 (so damn pale), Blue Berry BV04 and REd Violet RV19- got lucky with that color group. After a dozen sketches I ended up with this charming little fella, the red violet was just too much like fresh blood I couldn’t help myself. I also recorded the entire thing so here you go, a new video! Now with 67% less stuttering.
Watch me paint a minion, and listen to my broken English babbling.
So that happened :B
Brand new bottle of FW Marine Blue all over my floor and wall. The floor is fine, the wall has a slight shine of teal, and my favorite pants are doing rounds in the washing machine. I probably have the best landlord in the universe though, no stress.
Always remember to tighten the cap guys, always.
It was time for a new sketchbook, so off to the store I trudged. Usually when I have a new sketchbook between my mitts I just dive in with all the materials and make a right mess of the first page. Not this time. I felt like making this more of an exploring sketchbook, so I added a little illustration of an adventuring bunny on the start of her journey into a barren landscape instead. Where will she go? What will she see? At the very least she has a map and compass at the ready. Good luck on your journey little bunny.
The hot summer has carried into a warm, laid back fall and Sunday it turned into a tiny adventure. Armed with my trusty sketchbook, watercolors and thermos I went exploring the backside of my little hill.
Heh, well the thermos only lasted 10 minutes before taking it’s last breath and drenching my right side in the process. Still, after wrenching some water out of my clothing, I got some nice watercolor studies done.
